Turkish Foreign Ministry Announces Minister Fidan Will Attend Riyadh Consultative Meeting

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey announced that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will attend a consultative meeting of foreign ministers from a group of Arab and Islamic countries in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, this evening.

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would host the ministerial consultative meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday evening “to enhance consultation and coordination on ways to support regional security and stability.”

The meeting comes amid accelerating regional and international efforts to contain the repercussions of the ongoing escalation since the outbreak of the war initiated by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28, as Iran continues missile and drone attacks on several countries in the region.
