The Agricultural Bank Sets Financing Conditions for the Winter Season

The Sudanhorizon news website has obtained the financing conditions set by the Sudanese Agricultural Bank for farmers to obtain the requirements for the new season.

According to informed sources, the conditions include settling any outstanding debts up to the guarantor’s level and paying an inquiry fee of 289,000 Sudanese pounds.

The conditions set a financing ceiling of only 6 feddans, with a 10% down payment of the seed cost, which is 24,000 Sudanese pounds per sack.

The sources indicated that farmers wishing to finance 6 feddans will need 242,000 Sudanese pounds. Farmers are also required to sign a mandatory insurance agreement.

The sources revealed the expected prices of the inputs, noting that the price of seeds is 240,000 Sudanese pounds, urea 120,000 Sudanese pounds.
