Sudanese PM Appoints 3 New Ministers within the Government of Hope

Transitional Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris issued a decree on Thursday appointing three new ministers: Professor Ismat Gurashi Abdullah Mohamed as Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Professor Ahmed Mudawi Musa Mohamed as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Professor Moaz Omar Bakhit Al-Awad as Minister of Health.

The Prime Minister had recently issued a decree appointing the Ministers of Defense and Interior.

The Prime Minister is expected to appoint 17 other ministers, including four ministers allocated to the parties to the Juba Peace Agreement.
