International Community Must Condemn Kenya’s Support for Terrorist Militia

Port Sudan – Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned Kenya’s hosting of a second conference for the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and its allied political forces, describing it as a blatant violation of international legitimacy principles, African Union Peace and Security Council resolutions, and an endorsement of groups responsible for widespread human rights violations and war crimes.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, the ministry emphasized that this move seriously threatens regional security, African states’ sovereignty, and social stability. It noted that the international community had already condemned Kenya’s previous step in February when it hosted the declaration of a so-called parallel government by the genocidal militia and its allies.
The ministry renewed its call for the international community to denounce this irresponsible behaviour, which contravenes international law, the UN Charter, and the African Union’s Constitutive Act.
Kenya’s latest move comes amid escalating genocidal campaigns waged by the rebel RSF militia against specific ethnic groups in Darfur, the most recent being the attack on the Zamzam displacement camp, which left hundreds of civilians, including women and children, dead or wounded.
