Sudanese Passports Authority Dispatches Technical Team to Cairo to Support Voluntary Return

The Sudanese Passports and Civil Registry Authority announced arrangements to send a technical team to Egypt to assist in issuing emergency travel documents for Sudanese wishing to return voluntarily and those in violation of residency laws.
The Authority explained that it has completed the first phase of the initiative by sending 37,500 emergency travel documents, issued free of charge, to support those wishing to benefit from the voluntary return program. It also approved the validation of expired passports for Sudanese citizens in Egypt wishing to return home, thus facilitating their travel procedures.
The Authority confirmed that all these procedures and services were implemented under the direct guidance of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Command, within the framework of a comprehensive plan to expand consular services, help Sudanese citizens abroad, and facilitate their return home.
