The Sudanese mission in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, successfully received the first batch of Sudanese vehicles looted by the Rapid Support Forces militia and their mercenaries yesterday (Tuesday). This came after sustained efforts with several parties, initiated by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy, in coordination with Sudanese Interpol on the one hand, and through coordination and cooperation with the Chadian Foreign Ministry and police on the other.
The Chargé d’Affaires, Dr. Abdullah Abkar Saleh, officially received the first batch of looted vehicles seized at the Interpol office in N’Djamena. According to Al-Muhaqeq, the recovered vehicles in this batch are four-wheel drive Toyota vehicles (Land Cruiser, Prado, and Hilux).
Al-Muhaqeq’s information confirmed that communication between the Chargé d’Affaires, international parties, and relevant Chadian government agencies will continue to locate and retrieve more vehicles looted by the militia gangs. Meanwhile, Chadian police operations continue to intercept Sudanese vehicles for repatriation to Sudan via the embassy.
