Sudanese Army Repels an Attack by the Al-Hilu Movement and Seizes 3 Tanks

The Sudanese Army announced repelling an attack by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) rebels led by Abdelaziz Al-Hilu in the Dashool area of South Kordofan State. In a press statement seen by Sudanhorizon, Sudanese Army Spokesman Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah said, “Thanks be to God and His guidance, our forces in the 14th Infantry Division in Kadugli were able to repel an attack by the SPLM rebels on the Dashool station today, destroying the enemy and seizing a number of weapons, combat vehicles, and three tanks.”
