Sudanese Armed Forces Announce Recapture of Taiba Camp

The Sudanese Armed Forces have announced the takeover of Taiba Camp, which was previously controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The camp is located in the Jebel Aulia locality, south of Khartoum.
In a brief statement on Wednesday morning, Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah said: “Our forces have taken control of the militia’s Taiba Camp in Jebel Aulia locality.”
Taiba Camp was the largest military base controlled by the RSF in southern Khartoum. It was known for its fortified underground storage facilities used for weapons and supplies.
The Sudanese Armed Forces and their allied units continue to make rapid advances as part of their strategic plan to clear Khartoum State of RSF remnants.
