Sudanese Ambassador Appointed to Key Position in the AU

Dr Youssef Al-Kordofani, the Director General of Protocol and Ceremonial Affairs at the African Union, has been appointed Director General of the African Centre for Total Quality of Markets in Tunisia.
The Permanent Representative of Sudan to the African Union, Ambassador Al-Zein Ibrahim, described the position as prestigious within an important institution affiliated with the AU, which focuses on developing business practices, market expansion, and enhancing relations between the African public and private sectors.
The centre plays a vital role in harmonising policies and promoting regional integration across the continent. It ensures more equitable economic growth and addresses issues that often fall outside the focus of traditional institutions. Additionally, its efforts contribute significantly to poverty reduction and sustainable development in Africa.
