Sudan to the AFCOM Finals for the 9th Time

The Sudanese national football team officially qualified for the African Nations Cup Finals (Morocco 2025) for the ninth time in its history, after a goalless draw this evening, on Monday, at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benghazi against the Angolan national team in the last round of the qualifiers.
The Sudanese national team raised its score to (8) points, while the Angolan team strengthened its lead in the group with (15) points, and the two teams accompanied each other to the tournament finals.
The team had participated in the first versions of the tournament as one of the founding countries of the African Nations Cup, but it was absent from participating in the competitions, and recorded its appearance (8) times in (1957), (1959), (1963), (1970), (1972), (1976), (2008) and (2010).
