Sudan Preparations Finalized for Thursday’s ICJ Session of Trial against UAE

The International Court of Justice in The Hague will witness, Thursday. the first session to consider the complaint submitted by the Government of Sudan against the UAE regarding its documented involvement in the war waged by the Rapid Support Militia against the Sudanese people, in which war crimes and crimes against humanity have been committed.
Sudan’s diplomatic mission will hold a press conference on Wednesday ahead of the start of the court’s sessions tomorrow, reviewing the Sudanese government’s latest preparations for the legal battle at the International Court of Justice.
The Sudanese government has completed the preparations of its team participating in the court session on behalf of the Sudanese government and people; well-informed sources told sudanhorizon, revealing the details of the official delegation participating in the opening session.
The sources said that the delegation will be led by the Sudanese Minister of Justice, accompanied by some of his assistants who arrived in The Hague, along with an international team of lawyers led by former judge of the Court Aoun Khasawneh, two professors of international law at British universities, two senior international British lawyers, and another French, in addition to a national team of international law experts, and members of the Sudanese mission in the Netherlands will also attend the session.
The government of Sudan filed a complaint before the International Court of Justice on the fifth of last March, accusing the UAE of participating in war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the UAE-backed Rapid Support militia in a number of states in the Sudan.
