Sudan Beats Tanzania by One Goal in the CHAN Qualifiers

The Sudanese national football team beat its Tanzanian counterpart by one goal to none, thanks to striker Mohamed Abdel Rahman “Al-Gharbal.” The match took place on Sunday evening at Sheikha Bedia Stadium in Nouakchott, as part of the African Nations Championship qualifiers for local players.

The team will play the second round in Tanzania on November 3. They have two chances to win or draw, and the winner of the two matches will play the winner of Ethiopia and Eritrea in the next round.

Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will host the tournament finals from February 1 to 28, 2025.

Two rounds of the qualifiers will be played on a home-and-away basis before the continental finals, with the second round taking place from December 20 to 22, and December 27 to 29, 2024.
