Sudan Advances a step in the FIFA World Rankings

According to the monthly FIFA ranking, published Thursday, the Sudanese Secretary Eagles have ranked 17 within the Arab national teams, just behind Comoros and ahead of the Libyan national team.
Sudan had scored one goal to beat Niger national team but lost to Angola with two goals in the sixth group of the African Nations qualifiers to be held next year in Morocco. The Sudanese are preparing to face Ghana in two consecutive rounds in the Ghana stadium in Togo and the second in its virtual stadium in the Southern Sudan capital, of Juba, in coming October.
The sixth group includes Sudan, Ghana, Angola and Niger, and two teams ascend to the final.
The head of technical staff of the Sudanese national team, Ghanaian Koasi Abiah, has been managing the squad since mid of last -year, and since he received the duties of the technical staff, he has led secretary eagles into winning 4 games, drawing in one and losing a single time
