Sports Rally in Port Sudan Today in Support of the National Army

Port Sudan Stadium will host, at three o’clock in the afternoon today, on Tuesday, August 20, the initiative of the Premier League Clubs Association to support and back the armed forces in the battle of dignity, under the auspices of the Sudanese Football Association.

The initiative will have the presence of the Vice President of the Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar, who will address the historic carnival, in addition to the presence of a number of the Sovereignty Council and the leaders of the armed forces, as well as Dr. Moatasem Jaafar, President of the Federation.

The Premier League Clubs Association has taken up the initiative to lead the support of sports people for the Armed Forces, and the Supreme Committee of the Premier League Initiative has completed the necessary arrangements to hold the major national event. The accompanying program includes a tribute match between the Suakin and Port Sudan youth teams, in addition to the tribute segments during which the symbols of the Armed Forces and athletes will be honored, in addition to the speeches where there will be a speech by the Sovereignty Council, a speech by the Governor of the Red Sea State, a speech by the Minister of Youth and Sports, a speech by the initiative sponsor, the Sudanese Football Association, and a speech by the Premier League Clubs Association. The program also includes a parade and sports shows such as gymnastics and karate, and other segments, in addition to presenting patriotic songs, enthusiastic anthems, and traditional songs glorifying the homeland.
