Speaking to Sudanhorizon, Top Gov. Official Commends Democratic Block

Sovereign Council member Abdullah Yahya affirmed that the recent meeting of the Democratic Bloc resulted in significant gains that represent a real starting point for formalizing the alliance’s internal structure and enhancing its effectiveness in the Sudanese political landscape.

Yahya, who assumed leadership of the bloc’s External Relations Sector, stated in an exclusive interview with Sudanhorizon on Thursday that the approval of the bylaws and organizational structure will pave the way for establishing clear programs and mandates, which can later be translated into tangible activities and achievements.

The Democratic Bloc had earlier on Thursday completed the appointment of the remaining secretariats within its organizational structure, following the conclusion of its second organizational conference last Monday.

The decisions included the approval of the bylaws, endorsement of the political vision, and adoption of a new organizational structure, in a step aimed at reorganizing the alliance and strengthening its role in the upcoming phase.
