Port Sudan to Host Sudan-Egypt Economic Forum in April

Egypt’s Ambassador to Sudan, Hani Salah, announced that his country could contribute to Sudan’s recovery from the effects of the war. He noted that Sudan and Egypt have formed a joint working group for this purpose.

At an iftar banquet he organized for journalists in Port Sudan on Friday, under the supervision of the Ankara Center for Press Services, Ambassador Hani revealed that Sudan will host the first major economic forum between the two countries since the war, which will be held next month in Port Sudan.

Hani denounced the use of the term “refugees” toward Sudanese in his country, saying, “We do not know the term ‘refugees’ and do not use it toward Sudanese,” whom he described as their loved ones.
