Prime Minister Directs Restoration of Electricity to Central Market

Prime Minister Kamil Idris visited the Central Market in Khartoum today, accompanied by Khartoum State Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza and Prime Ministerial Adviser Nizar Abdullah.

During the visit, Idris directed the Ministry of Energy to restore electricity service to the Central Market, stressing the importance of organizing and rehabilitating the market in a manner that improves conditions and convenience for citizens.

The Prime Minister said that his visit to the market was intended to support and serve citizens, adding, “The citizen is our most valuable asset.”

For their part, a number of residents and merchants at the Central Market expressed their satisfaction with the Prime Minister’s visit and affirmed their support for what they described as the “Government of Hope.”
