Khartoum: Defense Industries Present a Vision for Restoring Nile Street

Khartoum Locality on Tuesday reviewed the vision of the Defense Industries System for the redevelopment and beautification of Nile Street in Khartoum.

The Executive Director of Khartoum Locality, Abdel Moneim Al-Bashir, revealed during his meeting with a delegation from the system at his office in Khartoum that the redevelopment will extend from the White Nile Bridge in the west to the intersection of Omak Street with Nile Street in the south, covering a total length of 17 kilometers.

He stated that Khartoum State’s plan aims to create a suitable environment for the return of citizens to the state.

The meeting stressed the importance of unifying the vision comprehensively and coordinating with all relevant entities, including the Ministry of Urban Planning, the Ministry of Infrastructure, and owners and tenants of sites along the road, in order to ensure proper integration of efforts and avoid overlaps during the implementation of the project.
