Kamil Idris Arrives in Cairo for First Official Visit

Sudanese Prime Minister Dr Kamil Idris arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Thursday morning for his first official visit abroad since assuming office in late May.
He was received at Cairo International Airport by his Egyptian counterpart, Dr Mostafa Madbouly, along with members of the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo. The two leaders are expected to hold bilateral talks later today focused on strengthening the longstanding ties between the two brotherly nations.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Egypt will last two days, during which he is expected to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Meanwhile, members of the accompanying Sudanese delegation are scheduled to hold talks with their Egyptian counterparts.
