The General Intelligence Service (GIS), led by its Director General, Deputy Director General, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Sudanese people on the victory achieved with the liberation of Wad Madani, the capital of Al-Jazirah State, from the grip of the insurgent Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

In a statement issued by the GIS Media Directorate and obtained by The Investigator, the service addressed the Sudanese people:
“This victory is the fruit of your resilience and sacrifices, and it heralds a promising beginning for the liberation of every inch of Sudan’s sacred land from rebellion and betrayal.”

The statement continued: “On this glorious day, we renew our pledge to God, the nation, and the people to remain loyal to our oath, steadfast guardians of this homeland and its resources, vigilant in ensuring its security and stability. We assure you that the liberation of Wad Madani is not the end but a first step in reclaiming all the betrayed cities.”

The statement concluded with: “In these historic moments, we pay tribute to the souls of our heroic martyrs, whose blood has nourished the soil of Sudan. We pray for solace for their families, the release of our captives, and the healing of the wounded. Together, hand in hand, let us march forward in the battle for dignity, supporting our armed forces, joint units, and mobilized forces as they write epic chapters for a brighter future for our nation.”
