Head of the Sovereignty Council: The Hour of Retribution Against the Militia and Its Supporters Will Come

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, stated that the armed forces, their supporting units, and the popular resistance stand united in confronting the aggression.
In a speech delivered Tuesday evening, Al-Burhan said the Sudanese people are “a conscious nation deeply rooted in human history, a people not frightened by such events or shaken by calamities.” He added, “It is a people of teachers and warriors who made history and built civilisations.”
Speaking from the shores of the Red Sea, Al-Burhan emphasised that “vital facilities serving the Sudanese people belong to the people themselves, who built them and will rebuild them again.” He affirmed that “every act of destruction targeting civilian or military infrastructure will only strengthen the people’s resolve, patience, and unity,” stressing that all national forces “are standing as one to repel this aggression.”
The head of the Sovereignty Council reaffirmed that “the Sudanese people made history and will rewrite it. They are steadfast and resilient, and will never be defeated. We will move forward in achieving our goal of crushing this militia and defeating those who support and assist it.”
He concluded, “To all those who have attacked the Sudanese people: the hour of retribution will come, and the people will ultimately prevail.”
