Geological Research Authority Launches Electronic Revenue Collection Through “Eissali”

The General Authority for Geological Research on Thursday launched electronic revenue collection through the “Eissali” service, as part of efforts to keep pace with the digital transformation of the government revenue collection system and strengthen governance, transparency, and financial discipline.

Director General of the General Authority for Geological Research, Consulting Geologist Ahmed Haroun Al-Tom, said the authority has worked to create a suitable working environment for financial department employees, enabling them to perform their duties efficiently. He praised their significant efforts despite staffing shortages and commended their commitment and sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties.

Haroun said professional discipline and adherence to working hours are firmly established practices within the authority, stressing that working hours are fully dedicated to completing assigned tasks. He noted that employees of the financial department have consistently supported the authority under various circumstances and play a key role in maintaining financial stability.

The director general called on employees and users of the revenue collection system to fully transition to the “Eissali” system and seriously engage with its electronic mechanisms, describing it as an important step toward speeding up procedures, reducing paperwork, improving collection efficiency, and enhancing transparency.

Haroun stressed the importance of maintaining a sense of accountability before God and upholding the responsibility entrusted to employees in the performance of their duties, while handling public funds with the highest levels of integrity and discipline. He affirmed that the authority is committed to laws and regulations and that its doors remain open to any review or audit.

He said the authority operates according to the principles of clarity and transparency and is fully prepared for any financial or regulatory review. “Nothing is hidden and nothing is concealed,” he said, stressing that compliance with systems and regulations is a firmly established foundation for managing the authority’s resources and revenue collection.
