First Gold Medal for Sudan in African Swimming Championships

Sudanese swimmer Ziad Salim won his country’s first gold medal in the 200-meter race on Thursday at the opening of the Zone 3 African Championships, which are taking place in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, and last for four days.

Sudan sent five swimmers to this championship, including three men.

Ziad will participate in the backstroke, along with several other events. Adam Ahmed will participate in the freestyle races, while Rana will participate in the freestyle and butterfly races.

Both Jana Weiss and Rana and Yassin participate in the freestyle races.
