CBS: Sudan Currency Change Start in Three States, Wednesday

The Central Bank of Sudan announced the start of currency change process for the 1,000 and 500 Sudanese pound denominations in Khartoum, Gezira, and White Nile states beginning April 15, 2026, up to the 15th of May, 2026.

In a press release, the bank urged all people in the said states, especially those without bank accounts, to expedite the opening of bank accounts to ensure the smooth and timely completion of the currency change process.
