Burhan’s Advisor: The Aggression Will be Confronted Politically and Diplomatically

Cairo – Sudanhorizon – Sabah Moussa

Amjad Farid Al-Tayeb, the Political Advisor to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, has stressed that the drones recently launched against Sudan originated from Ethiopian territory, but are “Emirati in origin and used by the Janjaweed militia.”

In an exclusive statement to Sudanhorizon news website on Tuesday, Amjad Farid confirmed that the UAE supplied the militia with these drones for use in killing and displacing Sudanese civilians and destroying the country. He added that the Abu Dhabi regime and the Bin Zayed government are continuing what he described as a criminal scheme, with a clear attempt to expand the circle of instability in the region by dragging more neighboring countries into the war.

Farid addressed a message to neighboring countries, saying that geography is neither temporary nor for sale or purchase. He emphasized that Sudan will remain a neighbor to its surroundings, as it has been in the past and will continue to be so after the war ends, due to shared borders, history, social interdependence, trade, and common security.

Farid also called on neighboring countries not to “burn the bridges” established by geography in exchange for what he described as “fleeting Emirati bribes,” considering that neighborly relations are more enduring than any immediate interests, stressing that Sudan will use all diplomatic and political means to confront this “aggression” and the parties behind it.
