Burhan on a Fresh Visit to Juba

The Head of the Transitional Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, is expected to arrive this morning (Wednesday) in Juba, the capital of South Sudan, for an official visit, his second in three months.
During the visit, the Council Head will discuss bilateral relations, ways to advance and strengthen cooperation between the two countries, and issues of mutual concern with President Salva Kiir Mayardit. Among the top topics will be joint security and the flow of South Sudanese oil through Sudanese ports.
The Head of the Council’s accompanists during the visit are Minister of Energy and Petroleum Dr Mohieldin Naeem, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, and General Director of the General Intelligence Service Major General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
