Being in Control is Different from Being Spread

Dr. Muzamil Abu Al-Qasim

In our previous article, we wrote about the percentage of control over the land, which the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia claims. We proved in the article with numbers that the percentage of (control) of the militias over the lands of Sudan is currently less than ten percent, considering that they control only four states, after they expelled the army from them. These are the states of South, East, West and Central Darfur, and today we return to write about the big difference between the concepts of control.. and spread.

Locusts spread on the land sometimes, but they do not control it.

The truth is that the criminal militias spread like locusts, rodents and vermin in the land of Sudan, and it is also true that their horizontal expansion is large. Still, they do not actually control even one per cent of our country because (control) means at its minimum (responsibility).

Whoever actually controls becomes responsible for managing the affairs of citizens in the area he controls and is obligated, at the very least, to maintain people’s security and provide them with water, electricity, health, education, and communications services, in addition to all banking and government services. Are these services available in the areas where the Janjaweed are deployed?

Is there security?

Do the citizens of those areas feel safe with their relatives from the Janjaweed themselves, let alone others?

Are there regular water, electricity, health, education, communications, and banking services?

Are there government facilities that enable the citizens of those areas to obtain their official documents and identification papers, such as passports, national numbers, academic certificates, and research certificates for the properties they own, etc.?

Are there regular health services in hospitals and health centres located in areas where militias are deployed?

Is there a judicial authority and law enforcement agencies, including police, prosecution, and others?

Are there regular banking services for commercial banks that enable citizens to deposit and withdraw their money from them and benefit from the financing services provided by the banking system to traders, farmers, manufacturers, and businessmen?

Are there stable communications services?

The answer is no… without a doubt!

So how do the rebels and their henchmen claim that they control this or that spot of Sudanese territory?

The constant, indisputable and indisputable thing is that any area that these militias have entered with their criminal hooves has lost all the components of everyday life, security has disappeared, peace has been lost, fear and terror have spread, citizens’ suffering has increased, services have disappeared, and they have returned to the Stone Age after their people were subjected to murder, terror, kidnapping, torture, and looting of property, and crimes of rape, violence, sexual slavery, women’s captivity, kidnapping of citizens, and forcing their families to pay substantial financial ransoms have multiplied.

The undisputed fact is that citizens flee from any area entered by modern-day Tatars to areas controlled by the army in search of safety, services and an everyday life, even if it costs them leaving their homes and residing in displacement camps, shelters, schools and mosques. Thousands of citizens prefer to reside in the open and under trees in areas controlled by the army rather than staying in places where criminal militias are deployed.

Despite all the noise and daily howling of the militias’ trumpets on satellite channels, Burhan is still the legitimate president recognised by the United Nations and dealt with by most international, regional, and even state organisations. Foreign ambassadors submit their credentials to him.

The ambassadors of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs are still accredited in all countries where Sudan has diplomatic representation, while the militias lack foreign representation offices like those that were available to the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement and other armed struggle movements in the past.

The national television remained the mouthpiece of the legitimate government even when they succeeded in occupying its headquarters, failed to operate it, and failed to broadcast the coup statement from it. The same applies to the radio and all the facilities they occupied by force of arms.

The currency in circulation is limited to the monetary mass supervised by the Central Bank of Sudan, and the Janjaweed themselves use it in all their dealings, even after they stormed the banks and looted their money and the savings of the citizens inside them.

The government institutions that issue identification papers and travel documents are still under the control of the legitimate government. The Janjaweed themselves are still striving to obtain and renew their official papers. They are still using the passports issued and renewed by the Ministry of Interior affiliated with the government they rebelled against.

The issuance of academic certificates is done in a ministry supervised by the government that the Janjaweed oppose and openly declare that they do not recognise it. The same applies to the documentation of those certificates in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which they claim belongs to (the remnants of the previous regime and Islamists). The same applies to the Medical Council and all internationally recognised professional councils.

Most of the citizens residing in the areas where the militias are deployed are against them wholeheartedly and wish for their demise today before tomorrow, after they have turned their lives into hell and robbed them of their security, stability, property, and even their loaf of bread.

The Janjaweed are now panting to gain international or regional recognition from any party to no avail. They ran to Jeddah, then refused to implement its outcomes, so it fell because implementation meant surrender. The government washed its hands of Manama, so Manama fell. The government refused to go to Geneva, so Geneva fell.

They are spreading horizontally in our land like a malignant disease spread in a sick body, God forbid. They kill our people, take away our peace of mind, destroy our country, and spread terror in our cities and villages. But they do not actually control a single meter of Sudanese territory. No party recognises them, and no party dares to show its support for them, even if it did so in a masturbatory manner, as a matter of course (shame is denied)!

Those secretly allied with them deny them openly and disavow them publicly

Their presence is confined to satellite channels where they shout and repeat their ridiculous lies and through which they strive to deny the heinous crimes, millions of witnesses, and millions of victims!

They do not have a unified command centre or a known leader. They represent groups of criminals who terrorise the people of Sudan. They are loose and loose groups that no one has control over, and no leader can curb them after they have resorted to prisoners, hardened criminals, mercenaries, lunatics, and the beasts of the earth everywhere!

The Tatars of the era do not control a single meter of our country. They do not even control the killing rifles they carry, and use them against the elderly, women, and children, and kill and terrorise unarmed civilians with the utmost vileness.

Their ominous sun will soon set, God willing, and people will remember their evils, sins, and crimes for years to come after they have been associated in their minds with all the faults of humans and all the meanings of ugliness, criminality, baseness, vileness, and vice.

They have never controlled anything and will never control it, and the bright and smiling sun of Sudan will soon rise, God willing, and the gloom will dissipate, and their ominous cloud will clear sooner or later. The good news and the dawn of salvation from the Tatars of the age are near, God willing, because the truth is victorious, and falsehood is defeated, subjugated and buried by the permission of the One who created the sky and raised it without pillars.

Whoever thinks that we will submit to them and to those who move them from behind the curtain like puppets is either delusional and blind or an ignorant fool.

The promise is that our country will smile after frowning and laugh after scowling.

We will be victorious, and our valiant army will be victorious, God willing. Our pure land will be cleansed of their filth and defilement, and we will reclaim our tolerant country from them. “O sons of Sudan, this (your army) bears the burden and protects your land.”
