Army Shoots Down Fifth RSF Drone in One Week

The air defenses of the Sudanese Armed Forces today, Sunday, shot down a CH-95 strategic drone belonging to the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia between the areas of Tena and Abu Jalab in North Kordofan State, according to a brief statement published by the official spokesperson’s office of the Sudanese Armed Forces.

The Sudanese Armed Forces had shot down another drone of the same type yesterday evening in the Kalmandu area of North Darfur State, as well as another on Thursday in the Al-Jamama area. Two additional drones had previously been shot down in the Al-Kokaiti area.

This brings the number of strategic RSF drones shot down to five within one week in the active operational area of North Kordofan State.
