Al Hilal Beats Al Merreikh 2-0 and Leads the Mauritanian Premier League

Al Hilal of Sudan topped the Mauritanian Premier League roulette after winning yesterday evening, on Saturday, at the “Sheikha Bedia” stadium in Nouakchott against its traditional rival Al Merreikh team, with a score of 2 to 0 in the fourth round of the competition, and observers described the match as the weakest in the history of Sudanese summit matches.

Al Hilal’s goals were scored by team captain Mohamed Abdel Rahman (Al Gharbal) and Malian professional Coulibaly, and the referee gave the Al Merreikh striker Mohamed Qabbani a red card in the 34th minute of the first half, for violent interventions on Al Hilal defender Mohamed Ahmed Orang.
