Al-Ahly Madani Delegation Departs for Atbara

The Al-Ahly club delegation departed Wad Madani this morning, on Friday, for Atbara to participate in the Premier League, scheduled for July 4th in the cities of Ad-Damar and Atbara in the River Nile State. The delegation is expected to arrive at the Nile Hotel.

“Sayed Al-Atyam” will begin its matches by facing Al-Merreikh of the capital next Friday evening at Atbara Stadium. The Al-Ahly team has added six foreign professionals to its ranks in preparation for the Sudanese Premier League.

The club hopes to go far in African tournaments, having made significant progress in the necessary preparations, including building a football team and completing the shortcomings of professional clubs in coordination with the Wad Madani Local Football Association.

The club’s sponsor and honorary president, Hazem Mustafa, known as “The Consul,” donated 124 million pounds to rebuild Madani Stadium as a down payment toward meeting FIFA requirements.
