Agar Stresses the Importance of Unifying Political Discourse to Support National Causes

Commander Malik Agar Eir, Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, emphasized the importance of unifying domestic and foreign political discourse and fostering national alignment to support Sudan’s national causes.
During a meeting in Port Sudan on Sunday with Minister of Culture and Information, Government Spokesperson Khalid Al-Eisir, Agar expressed his support for the ministry’s programs and activities. He pledged to address all obstacles and challenges to enable the ministry to fulfil its role and implement its proposed initiatives effectively.
For his part, the Minister of Culture and Information briefed Agar on the ministry’s performance and work plan, which aims to evolve and keep pace with current developments, particularly in the ongoing Battle for Dignity.
Al-Eisir highlighted the systematic destruction of media institutions by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF). He stated that this campaign aims to silence the Sudanese nation and obscure its media vision as part of a broader external plan to destroy Sudan, seize power, and displace and scatter its people.
The minister noted that the media sector has been one of the primary targets in this calculated assault, underscoring the urgent need for a unified and strategic response to counter these threats.
