Agar: Between us and the militias Stands Long-lasting Vendetta

Port Sudan – Sudanhorizon

Vice-Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Malik Agar, said that what happened to the people of El Fasher and to all Sudanese spur us to united and to think with the vision of the state and the responsibility of the nation.

He pointed out, while addressing the political parties’ workshop on Tuesday, that what the country is going through today is a difficult moment on a long road, but it is not the end of the journey.

He added that nations are not measured by what they lose, but by what they retain in terms of determination and faith in the future.

He added “We may stumble, but we do not break. We may disagree, but we will not abandon our homeland.”

He called for transforming pain into strength, and defeat into a lesson that will drive us toward unity, victory, and the establishment of stability in the Sudan.

Agar pledged to make every possible effort to overcome this ordeal, achieve security, and build a state of citizenship and justice.

He stressed, “Between us and them are mountains of corpses, rivers of hatred, blood, wailing, and a long-lasting vendetta.”
