The Federalist Gathering (General Secretariat) and the National Umma Party have agreed on the importance of conducting a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue within the country, involving genuine stakeholders. They agreed to rely on the “Climate-Preparation Committee” initiative as a foundational step upon which to build, aiming to achieve a broad national consensus that preserves Sudan’s unity and sovereignty while directly contributing to ending the war and addressing its severe consequences.

The two parties held a joint meeting on Saturday at Dar Al-Umma to strengthen coordination on current national issues. The Federalist Gathering delegation (Domestic General Secretariat) comprised Ahmed Hadra, Azhari Haj Madawi, Dr. Badr al-Din al-Zaeem, Dr. Adel al-Jaili, and Amir Hameeda. Representing the National Umma Party were Lt. Gen. Siddiq Mohammed Ismail (Deputy Party President), Dr. Ibrahim al-Amin Abdul-Qadir (Deputy Party President), and Counselor Ismail Katar Abdul-Karim (Assistant to the President for Legal and Constitutional Affairs).

The meeting resulted in advanced understandings aimed at unifying the visions of political and societal forces. It concluded with an agreement to continue discussing the technical papers and proposals submitted by both parties regarding the management of the dialogue process, as well as to elevate the level of joint coordination and sustain meetings between the two parties in the coming period to ensure the success of these efforts
