Joint Force Spokesperson: The Humanitarian Situation in El Fasher Needs Practical Action, Not Condemnations

The Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements welcomed the international condemnations of the violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces militia and its siege of the city of El Fasher.

The official spokesperson of the Joint Force, Colonel Ahmed Hussein, told the Sudanhorizon news website that the condemnation is a step in the right direction, but it is not sufficient and does not serve the people of El Fasher in any way, pointing out that the current reality in El Fasher and the inhumane violations being committed by the militia through its siege and its prevention of citizens from accessing food and water, requires actual decisions and practical actions, not condemnations.

Regarding the field situation, Colonel Ahmed Hussein confirmed that it is completely under control and pointed out that the forces carried out a wide-scale sweep on this Friday on all fronts and advanced defenses, noting that the forces are steadfast and in high spirits.
