9 Scientific Papers Presented at the Youth Issues Conference in Wad Madani

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Salma Abdel Jabbar, called on university directors and historians to document the struggles and sacrifices of youth during the “Battle of Dignity” and to include them in school curricula, noting that the youth were the fuel of the Battle of Dignity.
During her address this morning, on Monday, at the Palace of Culture in Wad Madani, at the Youth Issues Conference organized by the Sudan Youth Union under the slogan: “Towards Normalizing Civil Life and Reconstruction,” which will last for two days, the Council member affirmed that “the state relies on the youth to lead the stage of normalization and reconstruction.”
Salma Abdel Jabbar pledged to implement the conference’s outcomes and projects and to contribute to solving the issues that hinder the youth’s active participation in society.
For his part, the Governor of Al-Jezira State, Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, stressed the need to rebuild souls alongside reconstructing what was destroyed by the war, pointing to the continuous development witnessed by the state in various service sectors, and affirming his government’s commitment to implementing the forum’s recommendations and achieving its developmental goals.
Meanwhile, the head of the State Youth Union, Magdi Al-Zubair Youssef, announced the union’s readiness to implement a package of developmental and service projects and to support the executive authority in reconstruction efforts.
The conference discusses during its sessions 9 scientific papers addressing the role of youth in achieving development and progress in the country.
