Breaking: Eritrea has not Deported the Sudanese Chargé d’Affaires

Identical diplomatic sources in both Port Sudan and Asmara have denied that the Eritrean authorities had asked the Sudanese Chargé d’Affaires in Asmara to leave Eritrean territory and gave him 72 hours to do so.

The sources who spoke to the Sudanhorizon website said that what was circulated on social media yesterday, on Tuesday, about this matter has no basis in truth, and the sources did not rule out that there may be parties behind the scenes trying to harm the relations between the two countries.

The sources confirmed that the leadership of the two countries is capable of containing any misunderstanding that may arise here or there, without it developing or affecting the course of the solid relations between Asmara and Khartoum.
