“Beladi” Maintains Its Lead at Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia for Third Consecutive Year

Sudanese radio station “Beladi” won an award at the Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunis, outperforming several well-established Arab radio institutions.

“Beladi” received the award on Thursday evening in the Social Programs category for its documentary program “An Alphabet Beyond Borders,” prepared and scripted by Wajdi Al-Kurdi. The program addressed the issues facing expatriates and their children, who live between two languages and cultures while navigating challenges related to identity.

With this achievement, “Beladi” has maintained its position as a leading Arab radio station participating in the festival for the third consecutive year.
