SAF Completes Procedures for Integrating Those Who Abandoned RSF Militia Ranks

The Sudanese Armed Forces( SAF )have completed the first phase of procedures this Wednesday for integrating those who abandoned the ranks of the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia. These individuals responded to the call of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces for amnesty for those who lay down their arms and join the national ranks.
The procedures, which were attended by Major General Dr. Al-Walid Abdul Qadir Ajabna, Director of the Administration Branch, and a number of commanders of formations and units within the Armed Forces, included the swearing-in of the new recruits and the regularization of their administrative status in accordance with the laws, regulations, and systems in force within the Armed Forces. This is a prelude to their assignment to various formations and units, according to a press release issued by the Military Media.
In his address to the new recruits, Major General Dr. Al-Walid Abdul Qadir Ajabna, Director of the Administration Branch, welcomed their joining the Armed Forces. He noted that all their security and administrative procedures had been completed meticulously and thoroughly. He praised their loyalty to the nation and their willing and convincing choice to join the Armed Forces, abandoning the ranks of the terrorist militia owned by the Dagalo family.
For his part, Brigadier General Ishaq Saad Othman, Head of the Committee for Regularizing the Status of New Recruits from the Rapid Support Forces, provided a comprehensive briefing on the committee’s procedures and the integration of the new recruits, commending their high level of patriotism.
