Sudanese Environment Minister Discusses Ways to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation with Qatari Counterpart

Sudan’s Minister of Environment and Sustainability, Dr Abu Yusuf Al-Sheikh, met with Qatar’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, in Doha on Wednesday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of environmental protection, climate change, and development.

The Sudanese minister is participating in the International Conference on Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change, which opened in Doha on 19 October 2026 and is scheduled to conclude today.
