The Sudanese Council of Ministers Approves Ministry of Finance Report on Economic Situation

The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the Ministry of Finance’s report dealing with the current economic situation and financial performance for the fiscal 2026. The report included key challenges and achievements, macroeconomic indicators, and financial performance from January to June of this year.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance’s Media Department, the Cabinet directed continued efforts to strengthen economic recovery and achieve the desired economic growth.
The statement affirmed that the Cabinet, in its 15th session, commended the economic performance and praised the efforts of the Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, and all those who played their national role in stabilizing the state and confronting challenges under the exceptional circumstances the country is experiencing.
