Joint Forces : Repelling Attack on Western Front, Inflicting Heavy Losses on Militia

The spokesperson for the Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements in Darfur, Mutawakkil Abuja, stated on Saturday that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Joint Force, supported by the Popular Resistance, successfully repelled an attack launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on the western front, through the Kalbus and Salia axes.

In a statement, Abuja reported that the Joint Forces inflicted heavy losses on the attackers in terms of both personnel and equipment. More than 38 combat vehicles were destroyed, and 27 vehicles with all their equipment have been seized. The commander of the attacking force and a number of his men were killed, while the remaining militia remnants fled, leaving behind their dead.

He affirmed that the forces will remain steadfast and committed to fulfilling their national duty, and will not retreat from the battle to defend the homeland until victory is achieved.
