The Ministry of Justice congratulates SAF in North Kordofan Victories

The Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Darf, on behalf of himself and all ministry staff, congratulated the Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the leadership of the Armed Forces, and the supporting forces, on the successive victories achieved on Saturday with the recapture of the towns of Bara, Jabra al-Sheikh, Umm Sayala, and Umm Qurfa in North Kordofan State.

A press statement issued by the Ministry of Justice on Sunday stated that these victories “represent a turning point in the process of restoring security and stability and extending state sovereignty over all its territories, and embody the courage and valor of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the supporting forces in defending the homeland and preserving its resources.”

The Ministry of Justice affirmed that these victories “strengthen the state’s progress in establishing the rule of law, and that it is committed to pursuing the terrorist rebel militia, its supporters, and the states backing it, and to taking all necessary legal measures before national and international courts and international and regional mechanisms to hold them accountable for committing these heinous crimes and violations, ensuring they would not escape punishment, providing justice for the victims, and consolidating the principles of justice and the rule of law.”

In its statement, the Ministry of Justice reiterated its commitment to fulfilling its legal responsibilities in supporting state institutions and protecting rights, expressing hope for restoring full security, stability, and peace in Sudan
