Minister of Agriculture: Formation of Joint Committee to Recommend Urgent Solutions to Al-Manasir Problems

The Sudanese Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Professor Ismat Qurashi Abdullah, has given instruction for the formation of a joint committee between the Ministry and farmers from Al-Manasir, under his direct supervision.

The committee, which will include representatives from the Ministry and members of the local community, will be tasked with identifying all the challenges facing farmers and determining a scientific and practical methodology for solutions. It is to submit its reports and findings to him without delay.

During his meeting with a delegation from the region at his office, on Monday, the Minister announced full commitment to supporting the residents of Al-Manasir in all their agricultural and developmental issues.
He stressed the need for implementing agreements and translating them into tangible results.

In the same context, the Minister directed the Agricultural Development Authority to provide the necessary support to the region’s residents to contribute to boosting agricultural production and development.

The delegation’s representative, Khalid Omar, stated that the meeting reviewed all issues related to Al-Manasir, praising the Minister of Agriculture’s responsiveness to the issues raised, which resulted in the formation of a joint mechanism to resolve all outstanding questions.
