Cairo – Sudanhorizon – Sabah Moussa
The official spokesperson for the Joint Forces, Mutawakkil Ali Wakil, has reaffirmed that the Joint Forces of the armed struggle movements have no regional or tribal bias within the country. He emphasized that their primary concern is ensuring that Sudanese people live in safety and security and that every Sudanese family enjoys stability.
In an exclusive statement to Sudanhorizon news website, Wakil said that the Joint Forces have offered countless martyrs in the fight against the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia, defending the country and its peoples, who have been exhausted by war.
He stressed that the Joint Forces are waging a national battle to protect Sudan and its people. He added that the Joint Forces stand against hate speech and incitement, working to combat it alongside their confrontation with the Rapid Support Forces militia. He pointed out that their military operations extend to any area where these forces are present, whether in Kordofan, Darfur, the Nuba Mountains, or any other part of Sudanese territory.
He eained that the explained accusations and insults directed at the Joint Forces are not spontaneous, but rather orchestrated by powerful entities that remain unknown. He stated that these entities seek to tarnish the image of the Joint Forces and undermine their national role. He emphasized that the Joint Forces are not in conflict with the state or its institutions, adding, “We are against the terrorist Rapid Support Forces militia and all those who cooperate with it, not against the Sudanese state.”
The spokesperson pointed out that the majority of the Joint Forces are deployed on the front lines to protect the nation and its citizens. He clarified that the personnel stationed within cities are limited to personal security duties, while the main force is concentrated in the combat zones of Kordofan and the desert areas.
