Khartoum – Sudanhorizon

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has expressed Sudan’s full solidarity with the sister states of Kuwait and Bahrain, strongly condemning and denouncing the attacks and assaults that targeted their territories.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the ministry described the attacks as an unacceptable violation of the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of both countries.

The ministry stressed that these actions constitute a clear breach of international law and the United Nations Charter, posing a direct threat to the security and stability of the two nations as well as the wider region. It added that such attacks undermine regional and international efforts aimed at reducing tensions and preventing further escalation and conflict.

Sudan reaffirmed its support for Kuwait and Bahrain in confronting any threats to their security and sovereignty and reiterated its firm rejection of any hostile acts targeting civilians, vital facilities, or the stability and security of states.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation also called for respect for state sovereignty, good-neighborly relations, and adherence to international law. It renewed Sudan’s support for all efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region.

The statement further emphasized that both Kuwait and Bahrain have the legitimate right to take the necessary measures to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter.
