Al-Burhan and Erdoğan Discuss Ways to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation in Ankara

The Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, held talks on Tuesday with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara.

According to the Sudanese Sovereignty Council’s media office, the discussions took place within the framework of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The meeting addressed areas of mutual cooperation and ways to further develop them in a manner that serves the shared interests of the Sudanese and Turkish peoples. The two leaders also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors in ways that contribute to stability, development, and the advancement of shared interests between Sudan and Turkey.
