Sudan and Azerbaijan Agree on Mutual Diplomatic Visas Exemption

The governments of Sudan and the Republic of Azerbaijan signed an agreement on Tuesday in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for the mutual exemption from entry visas for holders of diplomatic passports. This agreement is part of joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and develop political and diplomatic cooperation between the two countries, facilitating the movement of official delegations and enhancing communication and coordination between state institutions on various issues of common interest.
According to a statement from the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreement was signed by Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohi El-Din Salem Ahmed, and Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, in the presence of several officials from both countries’ foreign ministries.
During the signing ceremony, the Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation emphasized the importance of building on the positive momentum in bilateral relations recently, given the growing communication between the institutions of both countries and the shared political will to propel relations towards broader horizons of cooperation and coordination that serve the common interests of both countries and their peoples.
