Ambassador Al-Hammadi Commends Role of African Charity Association

Ambassador Ali bin Hassan Al-Hammadi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Call Organization, has commended the significant role played by the African Charity Association in caring for orphans and their families in the fields of education, health, and social support.

 

On Sunday, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Call Organization, accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Adam, the Secretary-General of the Organization, attendeod the launching of distribution of production tools to a number of orphans’ families and the distribution of school supplies and materials to students at the Fatima Al-Zahra Center in Khartoum Bahri.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Call Organization affirmed the Organization’s continued support for the African Charity Association, enabling it to continue its impactful and beneficial projects for the community, particularly orphans. He added that the Organization’s return to its headquarters in Khartoum North brings renewed vitality and activity to these pioneering centers. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Call Organization had met on Sunday with staff members of the Organization’s institutions in the fields of education, health, social welfare, and other sectors, and praised their role in sustaining and developing the Organization’s work despite the significant challenges it has been facing recently.

The organization’s work and the challenges it faced in Sudan as its host country were discussed, and support was emphasized for the organization’s return to its headquarters and the contribution of its institutions to the reconstruction of what the war destroyed in Sudan.

Separately, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, accompanied by the Secretary-General, met on Sunday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi El-Din Salem, who reiterated Sudan’s welcome for the organization’s return to its headquarters and expressed his hope for a greater role for it in the field of humanitarian work.
