IGAD Secretary and Trump’s Senior Adviser Agree by Phone to Continue Dialogue on Regional Challenges

The Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Workneh Gebeyehu, held a telephone conversation with Massad Boulos, Senior Adviser to Donald Trump on African and Arab affairs.
In a post on the social media platform X, Gebeyehu said he discussed the current regional situation and the impact of global developments on the IGAD region with Trump’s adviser.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continuing dialogue and coordinated cooperation to support peace, stability, and development across the region.
