Power Outage in Northern State After Renewed Fault in Main Transformer

The Sudan Electricity Holding Company announced on Tuesday a renewed technical fault in the main transformer supplying parts of the Northern State, leading to a power outage.

In a press statement, the company confirmed that its technical teams are currently on-site and have begun emergency maintenance operations to address the issue, aiming to restore service as soon as possible.

The company renewed its apology to citizens for this circumstance beyond its control, while reaffirming its commitment to stabilizing power supply and overcoming all technical challenges.
